NCAI Digital Divide Task Force
Best Practices Directory

The National Congress of American Indians is working to promote and develop strategic, tribal-based partnerships and policies to increase the deployment of technology in Indian Country. As part of our efforts, we are creating a web-based best practices directory to show how tribes are:

  • Using technology as an economic development vehicle
  • Providing technology-based education and training to tribal members
  • Exercising tribal sovereignty through technology policy
  • Developing Indian content on the Internet

Not only will thedirectory show how some tribes are developing sustainable technology plans and policies, it also will help to build a toolkit of best practices for tribes that are just beginning to explore how information technology may be used in their communities.

Please let us know if you have a success story to share by submitting the following form.
